Suppressed Revolver
 

This is a photo taken during the Vietnam War of an American soldier, �tunnel rat,� carrying a suppressed 38 special S+W revolver. I don�t know why the US Army made suppressed revolvers, since suppressors�supposedly- don't work on revolvers. Maybe it reduced the flash.

That revolver had a mechanism to close the "gap."
The Vietnam photo is a S & W 0.38, with no such gap closing mechanism.

It's chambered in 7.62 for sabots, doesn't drop brass, and can be fitted with a silencer. Eat that CSI. :565: Stick a sabot catching ring at the front of the suppressor and watch them cry.
